Restoring mobility and ending chronic pain
Dr. A H M Masiur Rahman is a consultant surgeon specialising in orthopaedics, trauma and spinal surgery. Throughout his career he has focused on restoring mobility and relieving chronic pain, caring for people with severe skeletal injuries, spinal nerve compression and degenerative joint disease. Patients know him for accurate diagnosis, an empathetic approach, and practical advice on prevention and lifestyle change.
He completed his MBBS at M.A.G. Osmani Medical College, Sylhet in 2012 and joined the 33rd BCS (Health) cadre. In 2024 he earned his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedic Surgery from Bangladesh Medical University (BMU). To bring his surgical skills to international standards, he completed the APSS Operative Spine Course in China and AO Basic Trauma training in Switzerland.
As Assistant Professor of Spine Surgery at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR / Pangu Hospital), he handles some of the most critical trauma and spine cases in the country, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of surgical care.
